:wave:I am embracing the incoming 2006 with a mixed feeling: on the one hand, I think a fresh new year would offer a good opportunity to reorganize my thoughts and live my life with more wiser insights (I really hope so); on the other hand, I will unavoidably age one more year, which seems frightful to a women in her 30s.

I did some shopping on the Christmas eve at Wangfujing Street. Many many Chinese people were celebrating Christmas, not really for welcoming the annual visit of Santa Claus to our planet, but for finding an excuse to spoil themsevlses from the very stressful life. I took some photos, which I will post later. You may find from the photos that it was really very crowded in the Wangfujing area. I bought a MNG sweater (on sale for a 50% discount) and a pair of earrings.

These days, I am considering whether I should enroll a one-year LLM program in the UK or the United States. I do not really need another master degree for my work (I have obtained one in China), but I really would like to learn more about common law system and also the life style in western countries. And the different culture! But I am quite old now if compared with the new graduates, who directly study abroad upon their obtaining their bachelor degree. What is your thought about returning back to the campus for further study after working for several years?

Wish all of you a happy new year!
